Low Cost Or Cheap Airlines in The European Market

Millions people travel every year in the European routes using air transport. The number of travellers have risen more after expending the EU. The rising customers has opened a new opportunity for the industry and the travellers. Many airlines companies has started concentrating in low cost prize strategy as the volume of the travellers were good enough to make money.
In the current marketthe top two cheap airlines companies are Ryanair and Easyjet. The company Ryanair was founded in 1985 and Easyjet in 1995. But real competition has started after the boom of the cheap air travel industry. In a way it is good for the customers when the cheap airlines companies are competing hard. They take the price as low they can to gain more customer which benefits the customers to save more money. The problem with the cheap airlines is they never fly from the main airports to avoid the high airport fees. So if you are living in the city centre or going to a city centre it might be a bit expensive for you because of the parking or taxi fee.You can fly from London to Dublin with Ryanair from £48 returns including tax and other fees. But if you live in London city it might cost you more than £100 including taxi or parking fee. In this case travelling by bus or train could cost around £60 for returns.
There are more cheap airlines companies like BMI, Lufthansa and others. But Ryanair is probably the cheaper airlines in the market because of their pricing strategy. Lufthansa consider itself as a regular airline as well and also planning to start their business class jet service in short future which contains 2 seater, 3 seater and 7 seater jet planes. . If you are travelling to Germany you should probably use Lufthansa to get the best price and facilities as they run from their. Ryanair is based in Ireland and does s very good job while flying there.
It is also wise to consider the type of service these cheap airlines are providing. Many customers have expressed dissatisfaction after travelling with them because of their low quality service. The companies think it doesn't get any better than that with this price and the competition in the market. If you are travelling a two hours flight with Ryanair there will be no meals or drink during this period. You can obviously buy some food or drink if you like spending extra money. But this money adds with the air fare as a regular airline company would provide you with meals and drink in the flight.
Regardless all these problems cheap airlines are still a big advantage for the passengers leaving them with more choice and the opportunity to save money.
